BossEye: Real-Time Employee Monitoring.

BossEye has been developed for companies where employees can be located in
different places (including at-home work) but manager wants to know what's going on.
The goal of our software is not to spy on employees and collect proof that your employees are abusing business work time.
Our mission is help to manager to improve productivity. This is main difference between BossEye and Spy Ware.
The Manager (Boss) can see up to 16 screens of the employee computers at once.
He can take a quick look at the monitor and will see full real-time picture of the
employee's activity. This information includes two parameters: a screenshot of his
monitor as well as the time since the last user's action (using mouse or keyboard).
It's similar to the manager looking at the employee's monitor over his shoulder.
The picture can be zoomed up to full screen size. This program doesn't require any actions
during the operation; you can minimize the window and is open it only when you want to
look at the team.
Besides the manager can communicate with an employee using the keyboard or a voice.
The first option reminds ICQ, the second one allows talking with employee as by phone (VoIP technology).
Boss Eye consist of two parts, there are BossEye Office and BossEye Agent.
Office is running on the manager's computer, the Agent is located on the employee workstation.
Usually programs like Agent are operating in stealth mode (other words: invisible).
We think that employees have the right to close their computer from time to time
(for instance in case of at-home work), and therefore our Agent has two installation
options - hidden and honest. In the second case an employee can close the screen
transfers but the manager will be properly informed.
How does BossEye work:
There are two cases:
|Employee PC has a permanent address or a static IP.
||Employee PC has a dynamic address..
|In this case the Boss Computer sends a request directly to the Employee PC using Address information from the Settings dialogue. The request includes a Screen Name encrypted by the Registration Number. If BossEye Agent on the Employee PC is able to decrypt this message and if the Screen Name matches the User Name, the Agent sends the information to the Boss Computer.
||In this case, every 10 minutes the BossEye Agent will call a PHP program (boss_eye.php) located on the HTTP server. After authorization boss_eye.php will store the current user's IP in the appropriate file. Before sending request to Employee PC, The BossEye Office will download this file and read the actual IP.
If you are using BossEye inside the company, there is little point to use an HTTP Server.
This option is important when employees are working at home
or from a remote place outside of the corporate network (for instance in the case of a dial-up connection).
For security reasons all information transfers are encrypted.
